Arrivals
A majority of the cats that came in were strays, with surrenders as the next highest group.
Note:
TNR stands for Trap/Neuter/Return. These feral/wild cats are picked up, spayed or neutered (so more more feral cats are born), then returned to their original territory or colony. If their original territory is no longer safe for them, a new safe territory is found.

Departures
Happily, most of the 162 cats who left during the year were adopted to forever homes.
Note:
BCHA only euthanizes an animal if there is a health reason to do so. These are cats who are already sick when they entered our care.

Locations
And where did the cats come from? Well, a majority of them were from the city of Mondovi and township of Mondovi, followed by Buffalo City. In addition to animals from Buffalo county, we also took in a few cats from our surrounding counties when we had spaces available. x
